Q How consistent are the overall quality and color of the stones used in your medallions?

A MedallionsUSA utilizes a color selection process with all of its suppliers to ensure that the colors used in a specific line of medallions are as uniform and consistent as possible. However, since stone is a product from nature, each medallion is unique and will naturally vary somewhat in color and texture. Naturally occurring shade variations, veins and pits in a medallion’s stones add inherent beauty and make a medallion more interesting.

Q What is waterjet cutting?

A Waterjet cutting is a computerized technology that allows for the precision cutting of hard materials such as marble, travertine, granite, porcelain, glass and some metals. The process uses clear, cold water and a garnet abrasive pumped through a nozzle at ultra-high-pressure (40,000 psi) to carve complex cuts and beautifully intricate shapes while eliminating the break-offs, chipping, dust and other problems associated with other cutting methods.
